Yesterday I went to Saline for the opening of Bandrum Nursing home's upgraded new wing to it's original building. Just amazing. See their facebook page. The bedrooms were all large and with their own ensuite and all overlooking some of Bandrum's 19 acres of pasture and woodland countryside. As a former Care Home owner and Chairman of the Alzheimer's Society in West Lancashire, I've visited many, many Care and Nursing Homes but none of them came close to the high standard of Bandrum, the accommodation, the staff and the

environment all contribute to make it a superb place to live for anyone unable

to live in their own home.

I’ve worked now with Bandrum Nursing Home for almost 4.5 years. It has been an educational and fun filled journey so far. I started as a Reception Administrator on a temporary basis initially and progressed into the role permanently and then onwards into Trainer/IT support. Bandrum allow you to develop should you want to and especially if you have a drive for furthering yourself as there are lots of opportunities to explore, you just have to ask. 

One skill I am probably most proud of achieving at working at Bandrum is personal growth. I have taken some of our on the job training, because it’s not just about training courses, and I have used those skills in my personal life which has had a positive impact. I feel personal growth has been encouraged and supported as well as the job in hand.

Looking forward to the next chapter of my Bandrum journey.
